How to secure your festival tickets

Ticket prices

(Prices include a 1 euro ticketing service charge levied by the venue.)

One-day tickets (regular price): 25 euros
(“Normalpreis”)

Youth one-day ticket (under 18s): 23 euros
(“Jugendliche u. 18 Jahre”)

Cast & crew one-day ticket*: 23 euros

Four-day festival tickets: (6 to 9 June)**: 85 euros

How to order tickets online

One-day tickets are available to purchase via the Altonaer Theater website:

Note: You can change the language of the website to English by clicking on the flag symbol at the bottom of the window.

To buy online, click on your preferred date in the left-hand column, then scroll down to the seating plan, choose your seat and add to cart. Please note that all seats are numbered. To book for two or three nights, please book your tickets separately.

If you are under 18, please choose the concession price after having chosen your seat (“Jugendliche u. 18 Jahre: 22 euros”) in the pop-up window that will open automatically.

A ticket fee of 1 euro, levied by the venue, will be added automatically to all purchases once you click on “cart” (“Warenkorb”).

Payment by PayPal or credit card.

Make sure you print out your tickets or save them to your phone.

All tickets include free use of Hamburg’s public transport network (HVV) two hours prior and two hours after the evening performances. 

**Four-Day Festival Tickets

Pre-order only: A specially discounted four-day festival ticket (6-9 June: 85 euros) can only be purchased directly from the Hamburg Players by sending us an email (tickets@hamburgplayers.de). This is a limited contingent. Simply click on the button:

Tickets can then be collected at the hospitality desk on Friday evening (6 June).

All seats from this four-day ticket contingent are allocated in rows 1, 2, 13 and 14.

If you need tickets for three, two, or only one day(s): please book them separately via the website of the Altonaer Theater (see above!).

*Cast & Crew badge holders

Cast and crew should buy one-day tickets for the nights they are not performing via the Altonaer Theater website (see above). You will have received a code, which you can redeem at the online check-out of Altonaer Theater’s ticketing website. The reduced cast and crew price will be shown after entering the code. (A ticketing service fee of 1€, levied by the venue, will be automatically added.)

Cast and crew do not need to purchase a ticket for the night of their own performance, instead your backstage badges will give youaccess to the balcony if you wish to watch the other groups performances on that night.
