Audition for our May play A Fox on the Fairway by Ken Ludwig, directed by Dave Earl. (performance dates: 20 to 23 May and 27 to 30 May 2026).

With slamming doors and romantic shenanigans, A Fox on the Fairway pays tribute to the great farces of the 1930s and ‘40s. Set amid a private country club on the day the members face their oldest rivals for the golf tournament of the decade, it is a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers’ classics. American playwright Ken Ludwig is one of the most prolific stage authors of our time and has won several awards, among them the Tony and the Olivier.

This audition will be held at the Hamburg Players Clubhouse, Oberaltenallee 20A, 22081 Hamburg (near U-Bahn Mundsburg. Walk down Oberaltenallee until the pedestrian bridg to the Hamburger Meile, then go into the courtyard of number 20A, it’s the building in the back).
