The Hamburg Players’ improv group will be part of Theaternacht Hamburg together with the other groups performing at Theater an der Marschnerstraße. Theaternacht (Long Night of the Theatre) is the annual event launching the upcoming season, with 33 theatres participating throughout the city.

No set, no props – not even a script. That’s what improv theatre is like. Relying solely on their presence of mind and on the audience's suggestions, the Hamburg Players' improv team creates entertaining short scenes on the spot (in English).

The improv group exists independently of the three full-length theatre productions (all of them in English) brought to Marschnerstraße stage by the Hamburg Players each season.
