Reservations and advance sales

You can reserve tickets - to be picked up at the box office on the night of the performance - by contacting, or by phone/fax: +49 40 713 13 99 (answerphone). For special arrangements or group discounts please use the above-mentioned communication channels as well.

If you want to buy tickets in advance and you find yourself in the city centre, please go to the friendly people of Theaterkasse Schumacher, Kleine Johannisstrasse 4, near the Rathaus.

Of course, you can buy your tickets at the box office of Theater an der Marschnerstraße on the evening of the performance, too, unless we are sold out. We do recommend booking in advance.

Ticket prices

Tickets are priced at:

€16 Row 1 to 9
€13 Row 10 to 13
€10 Row 14 to 16

On the first Wednesday, opening night, all seats are available at €10.00.

Students with a valid ID shown at the box office may get a reduction of €2.00 in each category.

There is a group rate for 10 or more people at €1.00 off the ticket price. Please pay in advance and book through The Hamburg Players (see above). You will understand that we cannot give you a refund on unused reduced tickets. For tickets reserved and picked up at the box office at least 10 tickets must be paid for to get the reduced rate.

SEason Tickets

We would be more than pleased if you took out a subscription for season tickets. If you order tickets for all three performances of a season in advance, prices are €8, €9 or €11,50. Please note that up until 24 February 2019, the underground service of the U3 is interrupted between Rathaus and Berliner Tor. However, from the city centre you can reach Berliner Tor and the U3 taking you to Hamburger Straße via the underground line U2 from Jungfernstieg or Hauptbahnhof.


Unfortunately, the theatre does not have its own carpark. If possible please use public transport.
