Congratulations to The Hamburg Players for winning the stage management prize at FEATS 2009 in Brussels with their production of Chekhov's "The Proposal" directed by Elena Kaufman. Valerie Doyle was also nominated in the best actress category. And hot off the press, our original script entry to FEATS 2008 in Stockholm "The Furies" written by Elena Kaufman and directed by Henrik Zawischa which won third best play has been accepted by the 8th International Women Playwrights Conference to be held in Mumbai, India. 

This year's FEATS was an amazing experience - and although we did not come in the first three, the feedback from the audience was overwhelmingly good - we thoroughly entertained them. Our creativity and our stage presentation was praised by the adjudicator and the icing on the cake was the stage management prize for our crew under Lexi's admirable leadership.

And finally, the FEATS Steering Committee confirmed that Hamburg will be hosting FEATS again in 2015, our 50th anniversary.
